Over the past 29 years as an attorney, Laura has continued her efforts to serve
the public in a professional, thoughtful, and fiscally responsible manner.
Her motto is to do the right thing for the right reason every day. She believes
that humility is an important characteristic for a public servant and that you
should listen twice as much as you speak, that there are no failures in life only
lessons to be learned, that the harder you work the luckier you will be, and when
in doubt pray.
The mission and purpose of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce is to guide, inspire and promote the best interests of existing, new businesses, and professional members of the area, and to enhance the economic, cultural, educational and recreational opportunities of its citizens.
