Our 2021-2022 Youth Leadership Class held a very special Grand Opening for the unveiling of their community project, the Bearcat Community Center. Our Youth Leadership program is a collaborative effort between the Chamber and the Anderson County School System which is modeled after our adult Leadership program. The center is located at 219 East Woodford Street and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 8:00 p.m. High school students are encouraged and invited to come in for dinner (Tuesdays), do laundry, study, receive tutoring or just relax.
On Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, our future leaders held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
